What we collect and why
- Waitlist: your email and the Madeira areas you pick, so we can tell you when we launch near you. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Account: name and email (via email sign-up or Google), to run your account (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Location: only while "I'm out walking" is on. Other moms see a blurred position (roughly 400 m), never your exact spot. It switches off automatically after 3 hours.
- WhatsApp number (optional): shared only with a mom after you have both waved.
- Chat messages: stored so you and the other mom can read them.
Where your data is stored
Our database and hosting providers store data in the EU. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Fonts are served from our own site — no data goes to Google Fonts.
How long we keep it
Waitlist data until you unsubscribe or we launch and you decide not to join. Account data until you delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent anytime, and complain to a data protection authority. Signed-in users can delete their account in their profile. For anything else, email gintare.betz@gmail.com.
